Welcome
The Merseyside Model Railway Society is 59 years old this year and we provide facilities and support for anyone interested in the fascinating hobby of railway modelling.   We welcome anyone interested in having fun by modelling railways,  in whatever scale and to whatever standard they want and are able.   The Society has extensive premises in a former infants school in Brassey Street, some five minutes walk from Birkenhead Park station.

As well as 9 layout groups (currently) there is a well-stocked library for members’ use, a tea-bar, and a thriving club shop where members can sell and buy unwanted items. Extensive secure parking is available in the former playground.

15 Layouts, 15 traders, demonstrators and Society stands, O-Gauge Bring and Buy, refreshments, licensed bar, free vintage bus rides, tram rides.
