OO scale - BR Steam: Hel-yn-Bach

Depicted British Railways steam in the 1960s. OO gauge 4mm to the foot; 16.5mm track width. Continuous run 18ft x 12ft with a central well.  Was exhibited at Merseyside 2004 exhibition and subject of article in Railway Modeller. Now dismantled.

‘OO’ BR Steam Group’s old layout 

HEL-YN-BACH

After the club open day on the 25th November 2007, the Hel-yn-Bach layout was dismantled. The OO group had decided to build a new layout as Hel-yn-Bach was now twenty years old.

Some of the buildings, signals etc.. have been kept for possible use elsewhere. All relays, point motors, plugs and sockets and cables can be used again on the new layout.
