The Festival features all kinds on transport
both old and new - the exhibits will include traction engines,
buses, historic & classic motor cycles, cars, vans, lorries, a steam
yacht on the central lake (with rides for the public), fire engines,
fairground rides, craft fair, food & ice cram stalls etc.
This year, for
the first time the organising committee have arranged for a model
railway display in the main visitor centre, (with the kind
cooperation of Anne Litherland, Senior Ranger and her team),
provided by the Merseyside Model Railway Society of Birkenhead
- we will be presenting two of
our layouts (Cwmbach-yn-Triarrd
& Wassenen) plus the club information stand & club shop.
Members of the Society will be on hand throughout the weekend.
Last year over
25,000 visitors attended this free festival and the organisers are
working to attract even more this year.
